Assistant Plant Manager
Job Scope:
The Assistant Plant Manager will be in charge of daily production and making sure we are following SQF and HACCP standards, working closely with FSQA and the Plant Manager. They will also be responsible for sharing smoke house duties with the Plant Manager and Plant Superintendent. This is a rotation that requires coming back in the evenings to unload and load ovens.
Hours:
Normal working hours under USDA inspection 6:45-3:15 M-F
(We are one shift, after production the same crew becomes sanitation.)
Normal Hours 6:45-4:00
Saturdays are worked as needed during increased demand periods through the year.
Saturdays are required end of October-mid December due to the Thanksgiving.

Requirements:
Previous meat plant experience (ideally in a management role)
HACCP cert.
Must be able to lift 40lbs boxes
(Bachelors in Meat Science is a bonus but not required)
